Cancel Flow
Minimum cycles now make room for the EU right of withdrawal, so subscribers shipping to an EU address can cancel during their first 14 days even when the subscription carries a commitment.
A subscriber in Lyon who signs up for a two-order minimum and changes their mind on day nine sees the cancel button available, where the minimum cycle would otherwise keep it disabled until the commitment is met. Nothing cancels on its own, because this only opens the door, and the subscriber still cancels the normal way. Once the 14 days pass, your minimum cycle applies as usual, and subscribers shipping anywhere outside the EU see no change at all, the same as subscriptions without a minimum cycle. The exemption keys off the subscription’s shipping address and the purchase date, so there’s no list of customers to maintain and no manual overrides for support to handle one ticket at a time.
You keep minimum cycles as a retention tool in every market you sell to, and stay on the right side of EU rules where your subscribers live.
