Billing Reminder Notifications let you enable 3-day billing reminders without accidentally spamming subscribers whose orders are already about to process.
This is for merchants who want to reduce failed payments and prep customers for upcoming charges without blasting everyone with reminders the moment they flip the switch.
We added smart logic that prevents "backfilling" reminder notifications for subscriptions due to bill within the next 3 days when you first turn on the feature.
You enable the 3-day reminder in Skio SMS Settings, and only future subscriptions get notified—subscribers already within the 3-day window are skipped.
It reduces churn from failed payments, improves customer experience by setting expectations, and prevents the notification overload that makes subscribers hit unsubscribe.
