Social Proof shows subscribers how many other customers have bought a product, right at the moment they're deciding whether to add it.
You turn it on in Storefront > Customer Portal > Advanced > Social proof and set one number, the minimum customer count a product has to clear before it earns a badge, and from then on anything that clears it displays "500+ customers in the last 2 months" where subscribers browse the portal and in Add products. That number is yours and it stays put, so with your floor at 500, a product that sold to 512 people and one that sold to 5,000 both read 500. What moves instead is the time window, so your bestseller might reach 500 customers in two months while a slower product takes eleven, and the badge carries that difference without making either one look unpopular. Skio recalculates the window daily against the last 12 months of unique buyers, counting subscription and one-time purchases alike and never counting the same person twice. Raise your floor from 500 to 700 whenever you want and the portal catches up in minutes.
Products that haven't reached your number, or that took longer than 12 months to get there, show nothing at all.
