Hi there, I'm Kennan! I'm excited to share Skio with you.
Skio is the first way for customer-obsessed D2C subscription brands to truly unlock word of mouth as a channel. It's like the Spotify/Sprint family plan, but for shopping online with friends.

My journey began in high school when I started skipping class to do web development for a subscription box startup called Conscious Box. This is where I first learned that pricing and discounting is mostly guesswork.
After that, I worked as an engineer at Hulu where I built an app for managing subscription discounts.
I then worked as a growth engineer at Pinterest where I ran 200+ A/B tests around increasing user conversions (affecting 400 million+ monthly users).

Following all of this, I decided to take a crack at solving the pricing game.
My first crack was a price A/B testing app for Shopify called Jika. Turns out customers don't like having pricing randomly tested. Back to the drawing board I went.
One day, everything suddenly came together.
Group subscription discounts! Customer are happy because they get consistently lower pricing (vs. 1-time store credits) and merchants are happy when customers bring in friends at no cost.
