Digital products give your content, communities, and paid perks their own subscription rules in Skio, so they behave like access instead of a box waiting to ship.
A podcast membership has no business carrying a Ship now button, a delivery address, or an invitation to merge into next month’s coffee order. Turn on Digital product in any product’s settings, and when a customer checks out with that product alongside physical ones, Skio splits it into its own subscription automatically, with no shipping address and no shipping charge. From there the digital subscription stays clean, so customers can cancel it but can’t skip, pause, reschedule, swap, or add a physical product to it, while their physical subscription keeps every option it had. Cancelling doesn’t cut anyone off early either, because access runs through the date they already paid for. Every active digital subscription also counts toward a new Has active membership condition, which you can drop into Journeys, Segments, and loyalty tier rules to put your best perks behind a paid membership.
Selling access next to product is a real revenue line for subscription brands, and it earns its keep when the membership feels like a membership instead of a shipment with nothing in it.
