With this mission in mind, I am thrilled to announce that Skio is acquiring Tare, a generative AI email marketing platform.
Email marketing is a key cornerstone of every scaling brand’s retention strategy. Unfortunately, its importance does not come with a shortage of headaches and challenges. Email marketing can be cumbersome, resource-intensive, and difficult to automate as a brand grows. This is where Tare comes in. We’ve been impressed with how Tare has helped top brands (e.g. Perfect Foods, Droplette, Krave) generate on-brand, beautifully designed emails. More importantly, Tare’s emails have supercharged brands’ retention strategy, and they’ve seen time & costs go down by 200% while boosting conversion by up to 3.3x.
The Tare team’s generative AI expertise are a key reason we are so excited to be partnering together. Their founders, Max & Eileen are long-term friends and partners of Skio and were both early employees at the company. The team’s experience in the cross-section of e-commerce and LLM applications will help us craft exciting new automation & products within subscriptions & retention. Tare’s team of 5 have a strong technical background and are bringing experience from companies such as Robinhood, Amazon, and Mailchimp.
